West Byfleet
Secondary School: Speech day report for 1957
Children of West
Byfleet C.S.
School took a supply of
their own toys to school on Wednesday, their speech day. They were to keep their smaller brothers and
sisters quiet, so that all parents could be present for speech day. A nursery was set up in one of the class
rooms, where three or four senior girls, supervised by two members of the
staff, Mrs. R. Parlett (commercial subjects) and Miss J. Sinclair (art)
entertained the children.
