appeared in the Woking News and Mail: Champions of the
Woking and District Schools Netball League for 1949-50 season and featured
above in proud possession of the cup are the girls of The team which
came into being only two years ago, is recognised as outstanding in the
Woking and District League, and this was amply confirmed at the end of March,
when the West Byfleet players defeated a representative side, from the rest

whole school assembled on the school playing field for the annual athletic
sports. Many parents and friends
attended and after a most exciting finish Major Action, School Governor, presented
the cup to the captains of Hamilton and McClure who share the cup over the net
twelve months having tied for first place. |

children. Mr. Ledger has been
transferred elsewhere and Mr. E.D.M. has commenced duties to assist with
boys’ physical education – other no staff changes. Complete interior and exterior decoration
of the school commenced during the holiday. |
