considerable loss due to theft and wilful destruction (7/4/47). Organised by Mr. Chandler a party of 33

Mr. F. J. Coding commenced duty
as assistant master teaching Physical Training and Games and Form Master of
Prep B. The timetable has been
changed today until further notice in view of Miss Wade leaving on 30th
next. Mrs. Hooper is teaching the
girls PT and games. Mr. Cave taking the boys
art not taken by Mrs. Hooper and Mr. Evans, P.A. English and Maths with 2C
and 3C. Mr. Horn and Mr. Millow,
from Coopers-Hill commenced four weeks school practice. |

Miss Bailey and colleague,
H.M.I.’s visited the school to see Miss Aldridge and discuss the D.S.
problems with the Headmaster. Mr. Cave, Mr. Evans and
Miss Gregory were today appointed to the permanent staff. Miss Galloway seriously cut
her hand in the execution of her duties.
The doctor, who was summoned, stitched the cut and she went home at
2.50pm. |
